About the Course

Our 2021 Online Certificate Course is available to students who have completed the DEIEB Intermediate Award, and is structured in two teaching blocks: April-June and August-September.

The 2021 Online Certificate Course is designed as an entry point to the Dalcroze Certificate training, and does not comprise a complete training program in itself. Students enrolling in the 2021 Online Certificate Course should expect to attend other live and online training events at Certificate level before they will be ready for Certificate exams, and are strongly encouraged to attend the proposed Dalcroze Australia Winter School (July 2021, TBA pending the ease of Australian COVID-related travel restrictions). 

Individual students progress at their own pace and may be ready for Certificate exams at different stages. Some Certificate exams may be offered in January 2022 at the discretion of the Director of Studies.

Block 1
Dates: (Sundays) April 11 and 25, May 2, 16 and 30, June 13.
Time: NSW & QLD: 5pm - 7pm / WA and SE Asia: 3pm - 5pm

Dates: (Saturdays) August 14, 21, 28 and September 11, 18, 25
Time: NSW & QLD: 9am - 11am / WA and SE Asia: 7am - 9am

Cost

$480 for Dalcroze Australia Members
$550 for non-members

Please note:

  • The online Certificate Course is available to students who have completed the DEIEB Intermediate Award.

  • The course will be capped at a maximum of 8 participants.

  • All sessions will be conducted via Zoom.

  • Participants will need access to a reliable internet connection, a keyboard and a reasonable space for movement.

  • Participants are strongly encouraged to attend the live Dalcroze Australia Winter School to be held in Beerwah, QLD, July 2021 (TBA) or other Certificate-level live classes.
